ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Taylor NationS

Hold up! Not “Taylor Nation,” Taylor Swift's team... but I do like to consider myself the president of my own Taylor Swift fan club.

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona where I studied film production and was a swimmer (so, most of the time I was in the water).

I’ve always loved being behind the camera, and in 2019, I started photographing a few fellow teammates for their grad photos. It started to snowball after that, and soon graduation in 2020 with COVID hit. I had no idea then that photography would turn into my full-time career—but here we are!

Since then, I’ve photographed literally hundreds of grads and now shoot weddings all over the country. But no matter how far I travel, I always make my way back home to Tucson twice a year to photograph fall and spring grads—because that city and campus will always hold a huge piece of my heart.

These days, I get to call Oahu, Hawaii home thanks to my husband, a Navy helicopter pilot (he’s seriously the coolest), and our rescue pup, Mako. And now, I have the absolute joy of photographing grads here in Hawaii too. The beaches, the palm trees—it’s magic.

Graduation photography at the University of Hawaii or for high school seniors hasn’t taken off in the same way it has at the U of A and in Tucson in general yet, and I’d love to be a part of changing that. This place is way too beautiful not to document!!!

One of my favorite parts of this job? I’ve gotten to stay connected with so many grads over the years—and now I’m photographing their weddings! It’s the best full-circle feeling, and I’m so grateful I get to do this work.
